Arrow Rock Birding Walks with MRBO

Date: Saturday, April 26th, 2025; 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM starts
Meeting Location: Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center (parking available on-site)

Join the Columbia Audubon Society (CAS) and the Missouri River Bird Observatory (MRBO) for guided birding walks at Arrow Rock! Each walk offers a great opportunity to explore the area’s diverse birdlife while enjoying a scenic morning outdoors. Whether you’re an experienced birder or just starting out, this trip is a great way to learn more about local species and birding techniques.

Trail & Accessibility:
The trails at Arrow Rock vary in terrain, with some sections being relatively easy and others having uneven surfaces. Participants should be prepared for a mix of grass, gravel, and potentially muddy areas, depending on recent weather conditions. Each walk will last approximately one hour at a slow to moderate pace with frequent stops for bird observations.

What to Bring:
Binoculars will be provided for those who do not have their own. We also recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes and dressing for the weather.

Registration:
Please register through this MRBO link:  https://mrbo.org/MRBO/Festivals.aspx

We look forward to birding with you!
