Join us for a stroll through the restored prairie and woodlands of the Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary and the adjacent Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary to explore the areas’ birds and other natural features. It is an irruption year for red-breasted nuthatches, so that is one possible species we might encounter. Meet at the main parking lot of the Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary (map) at 3 PM. Expect to walk 2 to 2.5 miles round trip over a combination of paved surfaces and unpaved trails with mild elevation change. Estimated trip duration will be 1.5 to 2 hours. Led by Ben West.
