Join trip leader Brad Jacobs to walk the grounds at MU’s Bradford Research Center, looking for a variety of sparrows (including LeConte’s) along with Western and Eastern Meadowlarks, Lapland Longspurs, Northern Harriers, Merlins, Rough-Legged Hawks, and other raptors. As twilight approaches, we’ll specifically look for Short-eared Owls. We will be walking slowly most of the time so wear some good boots or knee-high rubber boots as some of us may get our feet wet depending on weather conditions.
Meet at the parking lot south of the new auditorium building at 2:00 pm; contact Brad Jacobs with any questions.
