Ever find yourself frustrated with hard-to-identify warblers? Struggling with the less-distinct female and juvenile birds? Columbia Audubon is teaming up with the Missouri Birding Society and the Missouri River Bird Observatory to sponsor a warbler identification webinar, via Zoom, on Wednesday, March 23, from 7-9 p.m. The webinar, titled “Tips, Tricks and Tools for Warbler Identification,” will feature ornithologist Sara Morris and is designed for birders of all skill levels. (NOTE: The webinar will replace Columbia Audubon’s regular March 16 membership meeting.)

Dr. Morris regularly teaches Field Ornithology at Audubon’s Hog Island Camp. She earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in zoology at Cornell University and is professor of biology and director of the Environmental Science Program at Canisius College, Buffalo, NY.
