The Columbia Audubon Society will begin its new year with our members and friends through socializing, birding, and eating at the Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary shelter. The event will be a potluck, for which CAS will provide a meat course (pulled pork and turkey) and water. To help CAS make this a greener event, we encourage attendees to bring their own reusable dishware to reduce waste, though CAS will have some backup disposables on hand. Feel free to bring salads, deserts or any other dishes you’d like to share, along with whatever else you feel will make the event fun. Feel free to arrive any time after 4:00 p.m.; we will aim to eat together at 5:00 p.m., followed by a leisurely prairie and bird walk. In order to judge attendance and plan food purchases, please consider letting  Bill Mees know (a) whether you are coming and (b) whether you intend to partake in the main meat course.

Join us and help kick off the new birding year.
