Join us for an afternoon walk to Woodpecker Hollow, a property owned by the Greenbelt Land Trust. It is open to the public and was formerly owned by long-time CAS members Bill and Glynnis Elder and the Nature Conservancy. The Columbia Missouri Trail Association (COMOTA) created a trail network that is accessed by using the Hinkson Creek Trail from Capen Park. Woodpecker Hollow is aptly named and is also a good place to see Winter Wrens.
Meet at 3:00 p.m. at the Capen Park parking lot off Rock Quarry Rd. This is an approximately 1 mile loop on level trails. Contact trip leader Jim Gast (jgast@socket.net) with any questions.
