Sierra Club’s Zoom Meeting on Columbia’s Renewable Energy Potential-10/21, 7pm

The Sierra Club has invited the Columbia Audubon Society to their Zoom meeting to discuss the conversion of Columbia’s energy sources to 100% renewable energy for Columbia Water & Light by 2030, 2035, or 2040. October 28 is the Public Input Meeting, and in this Zoom call on October 21, we’ll discuss the scenario briefing.

Global Big Day!

The second Saturday in May of each year is the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s eBird Global Big Day! This coincides with peak songbird migration in central Missouri, so it’s a great excuse to head outside in order to look and listen for birds. Check out the article in the April 2025 edition of The Chat
